This is an eight-day, 600 mile, multi-stage race. Today was the <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20060222123145\/http:\/\/www.amgentourofcalifornia.com\/Route\/map\/prologuemap.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">individual time trial<\/a>.
